I studied abroad when I was in university, staying in Tokyo for two semesters a decade ago. Now living in San Francisco, I often miss the cherry blossoms I saw in spring in Japan. I saw this set of Magical Sakura colour-changing sake cups and had to have them! They are so beautiful.

This is my favourite set of sake cups to show off when my family comes to visit! Simply the best purchase I have ever made, the look on everyone's face when these beautiful blossoms appear is priceless.

Amaze your guests with a whimsical magic trick that makes vibrant, colourful blossoms appear from the sky, while filling these traditional Japanese 'o-choko' 猪 口 Sakazuki cupswith your most prized sake. In Japan, very expensive premium sake is served cold, with your choice of Nigori or Ginjo, which has a smooth, delicate flavour and fuller flavours when served chilled. While traditional 'Junmaishu' or hot sake is best served warm. Here, we offer the original Magic Colour-changing sake cups that respond to cold or hot sake or even water/tea.

How the reaction works

COLD - Reacts only to COLD liquids. Sakura and Peach bloom RED, and the plum specifically only blooms RED in this set. Currently our most detailed colour change as seen in videos.

HOT - Responds only to HOT liquids. All Sakura, Peach and Plum will change to a LIGHT pink blossom.

DUAL (WARM & COLD) - Responds to SO MUCH WARM & COLD liquids. All Sakura, Peach and Plum will bloom LIGHTROZE when HOT and a detailed BLUE when COLD.

A traditional masterpiece

Crafted and hand-painted by local Japanese artisans, inspired by works of art painted by Kitagawa Utamaro. Each 'o-choko' (sake cup) Sakazuki is painted with a special non-toxic thermochromic pigment ink and then coated with a translucent food-grade ceramic glaze to seal the colour-changing ink.

Colour changing function: the colour changes when the temperature of the hot colour changing cup is higher than 39 degrees, and the colour changes when the temperature of the cold colour changing cup is lower than 21 degrees. The pigment is: temperature-sensitive materials are painted on the cup body and coated with a clear glaze, the materials used are heat-sensitive materials, high temperature resistance of 320 degrees, non-toxic, BPA-free, lead-free, chrome-free and meets FDA / EU standards .

Due to the delicate thermal reaction, there are cases where certain parts of the world are too hot or too cold, so the cups arrive completely blown out and activated from the box. In this case, we recommend serving them in another season or applying a heating or cooling method to return the cups to their original blank white with branches. Gentle hand washing is recommended to preserve the life of the cups and the ink design, dishwashing is not recommended.

Orders are normally processed within 1 business day after your order has been placed.

Orders are not processed on weekends or UK public holidays. Orders placed during these periods will begin processing on the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information when available.

These are estimated delivery times rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Occasionally, circumstances such as customs processing, carrier delays, severe weather or unusually high shipping volumes may result in a longer delivery time.

Shipping Costs

We offer FREE standard shipping on all orders within the United Kingdom.

There is no minimum order value required to qualify for free standard shipping.

Customs, Duties & Import Charges

Customers will not be charged additional customs duties or import fees upon delivery. Where applicable, these costs are handled as part of our fulfilment process.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind, you may return your order within 30 days of receiving it, subject to the conditions below.

30-Day Return Period

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request and return your order.

Returns are accepted for both defective products and change-of-mind returns.

Please include your order number and the email address used to place your order so that we can provide you with the return instructions and return address.

Please do not send your return before contacting us and receiving the applicable return instructions.

Return Shipping Costs

For standard change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been processed.

If the product is defective, damaged, or we sent you the wrong item, we will cover the reasonable cost of returning the product.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

• The item may only have been handled or used to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect and assess it.
• The item must be returned with all parts and accessories originally supplied.
• The original packaging should be included. The packaging does not need to be undamaged.
• The product must not have been intentionally damaged or altered after delivery.

If you received an incorrect, damaged or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible at Info@bella-onlineshop.co.uk and provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the issue.

Business Orders

Orders made for business purposes are excluded from the consumer right of withdrawal unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned order, we will process the applicable refund.

Approved refunds will be made to the same payment method originally used for the purchase.

The full applicable purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days after we receive the returned goods.

After we issue the refund, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.

We do not charge a restocking fee.
